Description

Jasmine Shui Xian Oolong Tea is a beautiful variety of scented oolong tea. It is grown in China’s Fujian province in the Wuyi rock tea region, with its typically mild climate and abundant rainfall in the Wuyi Mountain range, situated more than 1000 meters above sea level. Many of the region's tea gardens are located in rock gullies and caves, surrounded by mountains as a barrier from the elements. These natural conditions create a unique charm and draw out the floral profile of the “darkest of the dark” oolong Wuyi rock tea.

Jasmine is a night-blooming flower that is incredibly fragrant; it is a classic Chinese tea flavor, as it is both distinctively fragrant and sophisticated. Wuyi rock teas are known for their floral character, scenting the oolong with Jasmine is an ideal match, as they marry beautifully.

Once steeped, Jasmine Shui Xian Oolong offers a clear deep amber tea liquor, with a floral dark oolong taste with heavy notes of Jasmine flower.

It was my first time to try Narcissus Oolong. I heard about it long time ago in the articles but had never got the chances to buy anywhere in Canada. It is more like typical Wu Yi rocky tea plus Jasmin. I like it.
