[EN] Relatively new to the ripe/raw, and from what I've had so far, this is pretty good pu erh. I steep a little shorter than most people (30 seconds- 1 minute) so I can get all the good flavor profiles. First steep was really rich, not too thick, very smooth. This doesn't have all the musty, grassy, malted gym sock taste that some of the other raw/ripes have, and isn't leaving my mouth dry. The leaves also look shorter and thinner, I would guess that it is a higher grade tea? It's unique in my budding (lol) collection and I rank it up there with my white and tribute pu erh. Literally marked it A+. Try some, you might like it.
[EN] I have been drinking Pu Erh Tea for several years and aged tea is my favourite. Smooth earthy tastes with a beautiful colour when milk is added {pink tones}. I cannot agree with some of the comments here about a fish smell, it smells nothing like fish and the taste is perfect, even better than my usual tea supplier. The cost of the tea is also very reasonable for a vintage 35-year-old Pu Erh tea. Highly recommend and I will be buying more soon.
[EN] I enjoy this shou , very smooth , creamy and sweeter as the later infusions . I will definitely buy more

[EN] Don't buy this stuff so I can have more for myself ; )
[EN] Mmmm.... so smooth, earthy with such fine character. Room temperature, nothing added -- it adds something special to the flavors of perfect, raw pecans, which I thought (for over 50 years) were one of God's unimprovable perfections.
[EN] This is the first tea I decided to drink from my new batch. It smells exactly like turning over an old piece of wood in the forest. The smell translates to a vegetal, almost broth-like, hearty smoothness on the tongue. It spent those 30 years wisely.
[EN] This is such an interesting tea! It's one of those that you can definitely taste the age of it, and immediately it gives you those typical earthy pu'erh notes of soil, forest floor etc etc. But here's where it gets interesting. It gives me a base of whisky and malt, fresh bread dough, and the finish is like a red cherry. This is definitely one of those to keep around and break out to share.
[EN] Hello everyone, well i just got in to the teas World, im from México and all i can say about this aged tea is good so far ... taste is soft and yes smells like mud but im ok if you buy some staff that it says AGED then its Going too look and smell like old i can imagine the people to collect the leafs time and time ago to me is such an honor to try this tea im not a huge fan of teas but something happened before in my life so now i have to drink tea everyday by the way the belly detox tea is the gretest thing ever thanks tealyra
[EN] Its ok. There is a faint but noticeable fishy taste, not strong enough to prevent me from finishing it. I am new to Pu'er, I have had 2 other kinds, one that tastes a lot more like fish, and one I was gifted by a friend in China that does not have any fish taste at all.
[EN] This smells like fish food. The taste is a little bit better. Warning: This tea will get dark very quickly, if you don't like strong tea use less leaves and don't leave it in long.
[EN] I don’t think this tea was stored properly. It has a strong fishy aroma. Also kind of reminds me of a goat or horse barn smell, and the taste was awful.
[EN] Dry tea has a very earthy smell. Once brewed the primary flavor and scent is fish. Due to the supposed age of this tea, I don't think it has been stored properly. I would avoid this particular pu-erh.

[EN] I like pu’erh and I aware of the process that goes into making such a tea. With that in mind, this tea seems to be either too young, or to have been stored improperly. The distinctive smell of squid even after two rinsings points to this. With the cost of this pu’erh being what it was, I was expecting something of a higher quality. I would not recommend this tea to anyone trying to get in to pu’erh. The history of pu’erh has been rocky, so it is important to take care when selling it and to put forth the best quality possible.
