I find this tea rather weak. I have tried piling more into the diffuser but still the main flavour seems to be a kind of mild malty taste.

Genuinely one of the best and most interesting black teas that I have ever had. Its a black tea with oolong and other qualities - definitely a unique flavor profile and SO GOOD. Its a very complex, layered tea experience and you really need to taste it for yourself because my description could never do it any justice - it's truly one of a kind.
Trust me though, you'll like it!
Excellent description from Jeff, below: salty to sweet is a good descriptor. Definite profile of prunes, rather than plums. The dried, sweetened, raisiny, quality makes it lean this way. Mouthfeel is satiny and flavour is full-bodied. A great cool-weather tea, to my mind, as the baked prune flavour is really comforting as the season turns.
The description is really spot on. This looks and tastes very much like a fine oolong. Mouthfeel is full and I think people under state the importance of thick and slick feeling of a fine tea. I love how this tea goes from slightly almost salty to a sweet finish on the lips and gums. Nice Qi as well.
This tea tastes earthy and slightly creamy. Its one of my new favorites!

I did a 3 1/2 minute brew using 5 grams of tea to 180ml (6oz) of water at a brew temp of 94 - 95C/201- 203F.
I'm detecting a multiple layered aroma of plum & apple (maybe muscat grape), with a fresh full deliciously smooth mouthfeel & sweet buttery flavor.
A MUST try, & highly recommended!

To me this just tastes like an average loose leaf 'english' tea. Pronounced bitterness, slightes bit of acridity, astringent and slightly mineral with notes of plum, best to drink with milk. I prefer Japanese and Yunnan teas, not super fond of english breakfast style.
I'd rate it a 2.5 or 3 but I know I'm biased so it gets a 4. If you like 'english' style teas with milk this is for you.
